Finals

I wasn't feeling the stress of 18 credits until this week. Finals Week. The week everyone talks about and dreads the entire semester.

Maybe, I've been doing this week wrong. Good thing it's only Tuesday so I still have time to do it the right way. So Happy Finals Week, folks! Here's to late nights and never ending headaches. 

Birthday Boy

Today is this lovely boys birthday.

He will be celebrating 609 miles away. Words can't even begin to describe how grateful I am for him and his example. I miss him like crazy and wish I was with him to celebrate his birthday with him, but I know he's where he needs to be.

Mondays

Mondays are very bitter-sweet, but not because it's the start of a new week or because I have to go back to school. Mondays = Missionary emails. I obviously love getting emails from him, but at the same time it makes me miss him so much more.

It's only been a month since he left. I feel like it's been at least a year and a half. I can't really begin to describe what I'm feeling. Part of me is really numb, but the other part of me is always hurting. I know what he's doing is good, but that doesn't make it any less difficult. 

I can't get over how cute this picture so I will probably continue to post it for a while. Although, I miss him like crazy; I am so proud of him and everything he's doing. 

Round 2

I've been wanting to start a new blog for a while now. I decided it was time to move on from this. I didn't want to just keep writing on a blog that was so Jr High/High School. I've started a new chapter in my life, college. Weird.

I miss writing and sharing my thoughts with whoever is willing to read them, so here we go. Blog. Round 2. Starts now.
